Team-Teach Advanced Refresher Training
Target Audience:
Aimed at high risk Service Settings working with adults and children displaying challenging and dangerous behaviour. (Special Schools, PRU's Children's Homes, Hospitals, Secure Units, Children/Adult Respite Care, Elderly Care etc)
Please Note: Course members attending must have completed initial advanced modules training within the last 12 months.
Course Description:
Team-Teach Advanced module Refreshers are normally between 3 - 6 hour sessions depending on the skills refreshed. Please state on the request which modules require refreshing.
Advanced Modules:
Transport - A risk reduction module aimed at transport companies, schools and services.
Ground Fights and Ground Assaults - Extension module to fights and personal safety (optional with 12 Hour Course), dealing with issues on the ground.
Ground Holds and Support - Supporting service users and young people with extreme violent behaviour, this module can include single person escorts.
Note: All course members must holda valid First Aid certificate to access further support from Team-Teach.
Everyday Objects used as Weapons:
- Blunt Impact Objects- Sharp and Pointed Objects
- Pool Cues
- Chairs
- Missiles
Participants will receive support material and a Certificate.
Certification for this course is valid for 12 months.
